Time Slice Simulation

• Configuration file containing:
  • Set of institutes
  • Set of tasks and frequencies at each institute
  • Set of infrastructure costs at each institute
  • ATM rate
  • Simulation length
• Choose small time step
• Iterate over steps until end time reached
• At each time step:
  • Create new tasks
  • Update status of running tasks
  • Update counts of tasks status (CPU,WAN,LAN)
